Mrs Trevor’s Star of the Week

This week I have been blown away by ALL your hard work and efforts so keep it up year 3. We really enjoy your emails and blog posts!

But there is one person in particular who has shown such determination and dedication to creating such an amazing story with detailed illustrations too.

I am extremely proud of ……………..EVIE D – your hard work, commitment and creativity has shone through in your writing and illustrations. Both Mrs Thomas and I loved reading your story but loved it even more the fact you added some beautiful illustrations to your story too.

Evie has also shown dedication to her music lessons and sent us a video of her playing the keyboard playing ‘Let’s go fly a kite’. It was beautiful!

Y4 Celebrations – Miss Macfarlane’s Class

Another fantastic week of home learning from Miss Macfarlane’s class.

Mrs H and I are so proud of every single one of you for your attitudes towards your home learning.

Our special shout out this week goes to all the Y4 parents for supporting their child with home learning and posting/emailing their work and photographs.

Enjoy your weekend.

Miss Macfarlane & Mrs H.

Friday’s phonics challenge

Happy Friday!

Today please can you repeat “Flash cards speed trial” on phonics play choosing the same set of letters as last time.  Explain to your child their time and score from last time and set them the challenge to improve on it e.g. if they managed 15 correctly last week can they manage 16 today?  Good luck!

EY Picture News

Hello Reception,

Here is your picture news for this week. I would have enjoyed doing this one in school with you. It’s all about homes.

Here are your activity ideas and resources below. I love the design a new room for your home task. If I was designing a new room for my home I would put a ball pit and slide in there for my little boy, a cinema screen to watch our favourite films and a gym so I can keep fit from home.

We would love to see some of your ideas.

Year 1 Home Learning Friday 15th May 2020

Well done everybody for another great week of home learning.

Today is spelling test day! We hope you have enjoyed your Bingo week. Good luck in your test and remember to email Mrs Goodwin and Mrs Lee your scores.

Today we would like you to show what you have learnt this week about growing, plants and flowers. You will find a range of growing related quizzes on PurpleMash today.

You could then share all your knowledge of ‘Growing’ , presenting your learning however you like! You might choose to create a poster, a poem, a facfile or perhaps a presentation. We look forward to seeing your work via email or on our homework blog.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.
